Will Be Back With Minis Soon ..

I have been so bad .. have not been updating lately because mom was moving .. I was out of town .. too busy at work .. yes .. I can come up with tons of excuses .. re-arranging the workshop in August and doing some inventory count .. therefore, will not have any new products until that is done .. my whole July is about packing, cleaning, organizing, rearranging, unpacking .. etc .. gosh .. I think I'll be needing a vacation soon ..

New Product - Chocolate Banana Dessert

Finally got some time to make new product and take photo just before my vacation starts!  = )

This is 1 glass of delicious Chocolate Dessert served with yummy whipped cream and banana slices! Very Yummy and Guilt-Free for your dolls!

Dimension: (approx.) 1.6cm in diameter and 2.1cm (H)

 

I am quite happy with the texture of the smooth chocolate mousse~  What do you think?

 

Canada Post Still On Strike

I am so mad that Canada Post is still on strike.  I have purchased so many things online and couldn't get them delivered to me.  All orders are sitting in my workshop waiting to be shipped.  I feel so sorry for my customers that they have to suffer and wait extra long for their package.  Hopefully they will get back to work this week, but it's Canada Day soon and they may delay postal services again.  They are just so annoying!!!!!

I am busy helping mom moving these days and have absolutely no time for myself.  I don't even have enough time for my laundry, my doggy, etc, not to mention my miniatures = (

Since my hubby is busy preparing for his licensing exam, I have more time to myself.  I have created 4 different kawaii versions of cupcakes lately!

Dollhouse Miniature - Toy Story 3 Alien Cupcakes (Attempt 2)

Yay!~~  After my 2nd attempt, my brother is happy with the final products~

I didn't expect to get so many comments on these items.  Even friends and family are requesting me to make them some.  Maybe I should try out more different cartoon characters later on.  = )

Dollhouse Miniature Toy Story 3 Alien Cupcake - A gift for my lovely brother

My brother has posted a photo of some really cute Toy Story 3 Alien cupcakes from a bakery.  He claimed that they're "too cute to eat".  So I have made him some dollhouse miniature version of the cupcakes and hope that he can enjoy looking at these lovely creatures but not having to eat them.

I know my version was not done perfectly and I guess I will try to make another batch for him.  Well, "it's the thought that counts", isn't it?!  Although it's not the best, I still want to display this set as I'm very excited to make them.  Hope you enjoy my creation today.  = )

Dollhouse Miniatures Supplies

Well .. since Etsy has banned the selling of dollhouse miniature ceramic plates/cups/bowls/dish as supplies.  I have no choice but to open up my own online shop to sell all the supplies I've stocked up at home.  Especially want to share this information with all my Etsy customers who used to buy dollhouse miniature supplies from me.

New Product~ Crème Brûlée & Hot Chocolate

Being a working class who has to work 6 days a week and also a full-time daughter and wife.  I almost have 0% of spare time for myself.  I have not been productive with my miniatures lately.  Finally, I've found 2 hours for myself?! (well .. with my hubby bugging me at the same time) and have made this new creation - Crème Brûlée & Hot Chocolate set. 

I remember having Crème Brûlée & a traditional French-style hot chocolate when I was travelling in Paris.  They are just so heavenly to have! 

Crème Brûlée is my favourite dessert and making it in miniature form makes my favourite dessert guilt-free!  I totally love how you have to break thru those crispy and sweet caramelized sugar in order to dig into the smooth and rich layer of egg custard.  Mmmmm .. very yummy!  

French-style hot chocolate is unlike the regular hot chocolate we have in North America.  It's so rich and thick in a sense that you have to use a spoon to enjoy it.  With a dope of fresh whipped cream to go with.  Oh so heavenly!~~

New Packaging

This world is all about "packaging".  Having realized this is a very important component of a successful business, I have come up with some new packaging ideas for my miniature supplies.  Before, our pre-packaged supplies are all put inside "zip-lock" bags and displaying the actual items was difficult.  Now, I have come up with the idea of putting on the product image in front.  This way, it'll still save me space while displaying and at the same time customers can see clearly how items look like when displayed.

Here are some of the first few packages that I've created:

It is not professionally packaged right now (due to our lack of budget).  Once business gets better and we have more budget to allocate to packaging, I will be doing some more professional and eye-catching packaging for my products.  Stay tuned~~ =  )

Our Retail Location(s)~~

We currently have one retail location in Markham, Ontario Canada.  Here's some photos of how it looks like, they are display during different times:

We are only doing retail in a consignment store, so we only have a very small display case right now.  We are also planning to expand our shop and have another retail location in Manchester, England.  I'm thrilled about the new location and will be giving you more updated when I have more details later on.
